Why Father's Day matters for t-shirts & apparel sellers
Father's Day tees lean heavily on humor and hobbies. Dad joke shirts, "best dad ever" designs with the kids' names, fishing, golf, grilling and gaming shirts are all strong sellers. Matching dad and kid shirts are a popular gift from mothers on behalf of young children, and first Father's Day shirts sell to new parents. Print-on-demand shops can cover every niche with the same blanks, but production and transit mean there is a real cutoff before 20 June. Many buyers leave Father's Day shopping late, so publishing the last safe order date prominently prevents disappointment and refunds. Size is the part buyers get wrong most often when shopping for a dad, so a clear size chart with chest measurements, and a note suggesting sizing up for a relaxed fit, saves exchanges. Many buyers are shopping for someone who has not told them his size, so it helps to mention your exchange policy too.
