Etsy sale calendar May 2027
May is led by US Mother's Day on Sunday 9 May 2027, one of the strongest gift dates of the year for jewelry, personalized gifts, portraits, spa sets, mugs and cards. After it, the month turns to graduations, weddings and the start of summer, and Father's Day planning begins. Buyers of Mother's Day gifts often ship straight to the recipient, so gift messages and packaging matter as much as the discount. The UK date in March gives you a useful preview of which products to focus on.

What buyers want this month
May buyers are shopping for mothers, graduates and couples. The first week is dominated by US Mother's Day, with many gifts shipped directly to the recipient. After that, graduation and wedding purchases lead, and Father's Day shoppers begin to look around toward the end of the month. Buyers value clear delivery dates and gift presentation this month, since so many orders are sent straight to someone else and the buyer never sees the parcel before it arrives, so packaging and gift notes carry more weight than usual.
